Please read these terms carefully before using our website or placing an order.

Scope: This policy applies to orders shipped within the United States. Policies for other regions (Europe, UK, etc.) will be published separately when those markets open.

1. Overview & Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the VREL Performance website (the “Site”), operated by VREL Limited (“VREL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site or place any orders.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and VREL Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong, China.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. By using this Site, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract.

Use of Website

You may use the Site for lawful purposes only, including browsing products, making purchases, and contacting customer support. Prohibited conduct includes:

  • Using the Site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
  • Attempting to interfere with the Site's security, functionality, or infrastructure
  • Scraping, copying, or redistributing product content without permission
  • Providing false or misleading information during registration or checkout
  • Using automated tools (bots, scripts) to access the Site without our consent

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Vehicle Fitment & Professional Installation

Fitment Verification

Important: While we provide Year/Make/Model fitment data to help you find the right product, it is your responsibility to verify compatibility with your specific vehicle, including trim level, chassis code, and suspension configuration before purchasing. If you are unsure, please contact us before placing your order.

Professional Installation Required

Professional Installation Required: VREL suspension systems and coilovers are high-performance automotive components. We strongly recommend that all products be installed by a certified, licensed automotive mechanic. VREL is not liable for any damages, failure, or accidents caused by improper installation, DIY mistakes, or unauthorized modifications.

Restocking Fee

For returned items due to customer order error, change of mind, or incorrect fitment selection, the buyer is responsible for all round-trip shipping costs. A 15% restocking fee will apply to cover quality inspection and repackaging. The item must be completely unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging. Product Information

We strive to display product information, including specifications, fitment data, and images, as accurately as possible. However, we do not warrant that all information is error-free. Colors and finishes may vary slightly from what appears on your screen due to monitor settings.

3. Pricing, Orders & Payment

Pricing

All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD). Prices are subject to change without notice. The price in effect at the time your order is confirmed will apply. We reserve the right to correct typographical or pricing errors and to cancel orders affected by such errors.

Order Acceptance

All orders are subject to acceptance and confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including orders that appear fraudulent or violate these Terms. If an item you ordered is out of stock or cannot be fulfilled, we will notify you and offer an alternative or a full refund.

Processing Time

In-Stock Standard Kits: Verified, quality-inspected, and dispatched within 1–2 business days. Pre-Order & Custom Setup: 3–15 business days production lead time prior to dispatch. For full shipping details, see our Shipping Policy.

Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit & Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club (via Shopify Payments)
  • Express Checkout: Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay
  • PayPal: Including PayPal Pay in 4 (interest-free installments where available)
  • Shop Pay Installments: Split your purchase into 4 interest-free bi-weekly payments or monthly installments (powered by Affirm, U.S. customers only)

All payments are processed through secure, PCI-compliant payment gateways. We do not store your full credit card information on our servers.

Order Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled free of charge within 24 hours of placement. After 24 hours, production may have begun and a 15% cancellation fee will apply. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled and must be processed as a return.

Unauthorized Returns & Refused Packages

Unauthorized Returns & Refused Packages: Refusing delivery of an order or returning a package without an approved Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from VREL Performance does not constitute a valid order cancellation or legal return. All unauthorized returns and refused deliveries will be subjected to a 20% restocking fee, and any return shipping charges or carrier penalties incurred by VREL will be deducted from any potential refund. Chargeback & Dispute Policy

Chargeback Notice: If you experience any issues with your order — including delays, missing parts, or product concerns — please contact our support team first. We are committed to resolving all issues promptly. Unauthorized chargebacks filed without prior communication will be rigorously disputed with full delivery logs, tracking records, IP data, and these Terms provided to the issuing financial institution. A dispute processing fee may be charged to the buyer for unfounded chargebacks.

Customs & Import Compliance

For U.S. orders, VREL covers all customs clearance and import duties (DDP). If a package is held by customs and requires your cooperation (e.g., identity verification), you must respond promptly. If a package is returned or destroyed due to the buyer's refusal to cooperate with customs clearance, the loss shall be borne by the buyer.

4. Off-Road Use & Legal Compliance

Off-Highway Use Notice

Off-Highway Use Notice: Certain VREL products are engineered for track, racing, or off-highway use only. It is the buyer's sole responsibility to comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding vehicle modifications, emissions, and street legality. VREL is not responsible for any fines, penalties, or vehicle impoundment resulting from non-compliant use of our products.

California Proposition 65 Warning

WARNING: This product contains chemicals, including lead, nickel, or phthalates, known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. For more information, go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

VREL products use industrial-grade metals, coatings, and rubber compounds common to automotive manufacturing. This warning is provided to ensure full compliance with California Proposition 65 regulations.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act

Under the U.S. Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. § 2301 et seq.), an automobile manufacturer cannot automatically void your entire vehicle warranty simply because you installed aftermarket parts. The dealer must prove that the aftermarket part directly caused the failure of a specific component. For more information, see our Warranty Policy.

Street-Legality & Emissions

Suspension components do not alter vehicle engine emissions and therefore do not require a California Air Resources Board (CARB) Executive Order (EO) number. VREL coilovers are street-legal replacement parts in all 50 U.S. states.

Note: Some states enforce minimum bumper or headlight height laws. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the ride height set on their vehicle complies with local state DOT regulations.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, product designs, renderings, images, photography, and software, is the property of VREL Limited or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Trademarks

The “VREL” name, “VREL Performance” brand, logo, and all related trademarks, service marks, and trade dress are owned by VREL Limited. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

Patents & Designs

VREL product designs, engineering specifications, and proprietary technologies are protected by applicable patent and design rights. Reverse engineering, copying, or manufacturing imitation products is strictly prohibited.

Copyright

All website copy, product descriptions, technical documentation, and marketing materials are protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or otherwise use any content from this Site without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial browsing.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VREL Limited, its directors, officers, employees, or suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or our products, including but not limited to lost profits, lost savings, vehicle downtime, or property damage.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product(s) in question.

Product Use Disclaimer: VREL coilovers are designed for automotive enthusiast and motorsport applications. Improper installation, adjustment, or use may affect vehicle handling and safety. VREL is not liable for any vehicle damage, personal injury, or property damage resulting from improper installation, unauthorized modifications, or use of our products contrary to manufacturer guidelines.

Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

7. Governing Law & Disputes

Negotiation

In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or your purchase, we encourage you to contact us first to seek an amicable resolution. Most issues can be resolved quickly through our support team.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. If you are a U.S. resident, nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude any non-waivable statutory rights granted to you under applicable U.S. federal or state consumer protection laws.

Jurisdiction

Any dispute that cannot be resolved through negotiation shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
