The L-Series is tuned comfort-first: L1 runs a factory-preset damping setup for smooth, easy daily driving, while L2 adds 24-way adjustable damping so you can tune ride firmness yourself. The R-Series is tuned for handling: R1 for spirited street use, R1 Plus for aggressive street and canyon driving, and R2 with monotube construction for regular track days. All five series offer adjustable ride height. Rule of thumb — if your weekends are mostly commutes and road trips, start with the L-Series; if they end in apexes, look at the R-Series.

A2: Every VREL kit is engineered as a vehicle-specific bolt-on replacement — no cutting or welding on compatible applications. That said, we recommend professional installation. Correct spring preload, factory torque specifications, and a full wheel alignment after installation are critical to safety, ride quality, and warranty coverage. Most suspension shops handle this as a routine job. If you install at home, you'll need a lift or jack stands, a torque wrench, and an alignment appointment afterward.

A3: Manufacturing defects for 24 months from purchase — including damper seal oil leakage, damping adjustment mechanism failure, spring breakage caused by material defects, weld failures, and internal structural failure. It does not cover improper installation, crash damage, corrosion from road salt or lack of maintenance, normal wear items such as bushings, dust boots, and bump stops, or competitive racing use. One exception: the R2 Track Series stays fully covered even on track, excluding collision damage and improper setup. Full terms live on our Warranty Policy page.

A4: The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. For orders shipped to the contiguous United States, VREL covers applicable import duties and customs fees under Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) terms — no surprise charges at your door. Orders ship via express air freight (FedEx / DHL / UPS): in-stock kits typically arrive in 6–10 business days, while pre-orders or custom builds take 8–23 business days depending on the production queue. If a carrier ever contacts you about a duty-related charge, contact us before paying and we'll review it with you.

A5:Not if you choose the right series. L1 and L2 are tuned around daily comfort, and L2's 24-way adjuster lets you soften the ride for commuting or firm it up when you want more control. R-Series kits are progressively firmer and transmit more road feedback — the trade-off for sharper handling. Setup matters too: stay within the recommended ride-height range and get a proper alignment after installation. If comfort is your priority, start with L1 or L2.
